On September 11, Xiong Ying, Party Branch Secretary of WUSM gave a party lecture to the party members on the subject "be faithful, be responsible, and be an iron-like party member”, in order to promote the studies on the theoretical and practical issues of party building.

During the lecture, Xiong Ying explained the concept “belief and faith are the foundation of living and working; discipline and responsibility are the basis of performing duties”, and then he specified the correct understanding of the connotation and dialectical relationship of “four iron" requirements, and the necessity of being a faithful and responsible party member. Meanwhile, he encouraged the party members to be “iron-like” in faith, beliefs, discipline, and responsibility. He held that party members should constantly improve their consciousness and personality, internalize General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech and practice it in daily work.

After the lecture, each party member’s Party Member Manual was collected for review and comment. Party members thought they had deepened the understanding of studies on the theoretical and practical issues of party building through the party lecture.
