On August 26, Wuhan University held the first Health Industry Forum. Nearly 100 outstanding entrepreneurs, alumni, experts and scholars gathered at Luojia Mountain, and discussed the new models, new opportunities of health industry cooperation on the subject of “Unite WHU’s strength to Create a Healthy China".

Han Jin, Secretary of the Party Committee of WHU; Dou Xiankang, President of WHU; Feng Youmei Executive President of WHU; Shu Hongbing, Zhou Yezhong, Vice President of WHU; Chen Dongsheng, Liu Baolin, Tian Yuan, Yang Zhi, Yu Gang, leaders of WHU Health Industry Union, and other alumni entrepreneurs, guests, directors of related departments of WHU attended the forum.

Feng Youmei claimed that taking the Health Industry Forum as an opportunity, WHU Health Industry Alliance should be made full use to stimulate the strength and vitality of WHU and its alumni in the field of health, and contribute to the development of China's health industry and WHU’s construction as a world's leading university.

Chen Dongsheng held that WHU has its own advantages in teaching, research and alumni resources. WHU alumni have made significant achievements and established influential enterprises in the health industry. WHU Health Industry Alliance will further promote the integration of teaching, scientific research and industry, producing an advantage of WHU in the field of health.

It is reported that the forum aims to actively respond to the call of "Healthy China" construction, and to develop the spirit of “WHU Alumni Entrepreneurs Association Health Industry Alliance”. It unites wisdom and resources of WHU alumni in health industry, and actively promotes cooperation of health industry.
