On February 27, four senior students from Fukushima Medical University in Japan started their 40-day learning and internship at WUSM.

That afternoon, Yu Feng, the Deputy Director of Teaching Management Office as well as other teachers held a meeting with four Japanese students. At the meeting, Yu Feng, on behalf of the WUSM, firstly extended a warm welcome to the students and hoped that they could quickly integrate into the warm family of WUSM. At the same time, he elaborated the arrangements of internship and living, and encouraged them to communicate more with Chinese students to help each other and learn skills from each other.

It is reported that Fukushima Medical University and WUSM have carried out exchange projects since 1996. So far, the number of exchanging students and teachers in both schools has reached over 150.(translated by Song Min, Wu Xia)
