Hubei Provincial Department of Education recently announced the 8th Hubei Provincial  award list of Teaching Achievements of Higher Education Institution. 3 projects of WUSM won the first prize, 3 projects won the second prize and 2 projects won the third prize. Wuhan University won a total of 44 awards, including 24 first prizes, 14 second prizes and 6 third prizes.

The first prizes were "Reform of Integrated Medical Education Under International Perspective" hosted by Professor Zhou Yunfeng , "Reform and Innovation of Undergraduate Education of Public Health under Global Health View" hosted by Professor Mao Zongfu, and Professor Zhang Wei of the Second Clinical College presided over the “Three-stage integration of 'Obstetrics Personnel Training Mode Exploration and Practice”; the second prizes were “Creating Reproductive Health Training System, Leading Reproductive Health Innovative Personnel Training”hosted by Professor Yang Jing, "Building Training Mode of Stomatological Learning and Practice" hosted by Professor Yang Xuewen, and "the Demonstration and Leading Role of Teacher Studio in Innovative Medical Personnel Training" hosted by Professor Zhang Xiaolian.

The teaching achievement award selection started in December 2016, a total of 200 first prizes, 200 second prizes and 200 third prizes was awarded through a series of qualification review and examination. (translated by Song Min, Wu Xia)
