On March 15, in order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the ideology of Chinese socialism with a new era of Xi Jinping, The Party branch of WUSM held a thematic party activity around “Issues on the Construction of the Party’s Branch in the New Era”, with 20 party members present. Jiang Ming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of WUSM hosted the activity.

Wang Sanli, Deputy Minister of Organization Department of WHU, was invited to give a special lecture entitled "Issues on the Construction of the Party’s Branch in the New Era".

Wang Sanli explained the party branch’s status, role, basic tasks, key tasks in detail. In addition, he specified requirements for the work of the grassroots branch secretaries combined with the spirit of the 19th National Congress . Mr. Wang’s lecture won the applause of audience present.

In the end, Jiang Ming drew a conclusion with the contents of the lecture, and put forward three requirements for the party members: Firstly, strengthen theoretical studies and the party constitution studies; Secondly, the branch secretary must take the lead in constructing the branch; Thirdly, endeavor to promote the implementation of the medical take-off plan.
