Recently, Callum Ross, Professor of human anatomy from University of Chicago, visited MUSM. Yu Baoping, Vice Dean of MUSM; Chen Yun, Vice Dean of School of Basic Medical Sciences, and Tian Zongwen, Associate Professor of Human Anatomy Department attended the meeting.

Yu Baoping extended his warm welcome to the arrival of Doctor Ross and hoped that there would be further sharing of highly-qualified teaching resources between two universities.

During the visit, Doctor Ross had a discussion about the curriculum reform with members from Anatomy Department of School of Basic Medical Sciences. Afterwards, he was highly praised by the students.

Since 2008, MUSM has cooperated with University of Chicago to carry out clinical medicine teaching reform. Through the cooperation, University of Chicago sends professors regularly to guide teaching, teacher’s  training, and construction of curriculums at MUSM, which helps the latter improve its teaching quality.
