On Dec. 1st, the inaugural meeting of Medical Branch, WHU Zhejiang Alumni Association was held in Hangzhou. Zhou Yezhong, Vice President of WHU; Deng Xiaomei, Chief of the Alumni Affairs and Development Liaison Office; Xiong Ying, Vice Dean of MUSM; Liu Sai, Deputy Chief of the Alumni Affairs and Development Liaison Office, Jiao Li, Deputy Secretary of School of Health Sciences and more than 500 alumni attended the meeting. 

Zhou Yezhong expressed the gratitude to Zhejiang Alumni Association for their contribution to the alma mater, and introduced the achievements of the school in “Double First-rate” construction. 

Xiong Ying expressed congratulations on the establishment of the medical branch. She introduced the development of WUSM in recent years and the implementation of the “Medical Take-off” plan. She encouraged alumni to be outstanding in the medical field. (translated by Wang Dingying, Wu Xia)
