Recently, 4 eight-year students majored in clinical medicine returned to WUSM, and successfully completed a 42-day exchange study at Fukushima Medical University, Japan.
In Japan, Minister of Department of Medicine, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Center warmly welcomed their arrival. At the symposium, the two sides discussed the differences between the cultures and medical systems of the two countries. The leaders of Fukushima Medical University hoped everyone gained fruitful results during the program.
During the exchange study, 4 students completed in-depth exchange study in their respective departments, from the outpatient department to the ward, from the laboratory to the operating room. After completing the study, the students made a report to Fukushima Medical University about the differences in culture, medical system and learning environment between the two countries and received their graduation certificate. Meanwhile, it is hoped that there will be more cooperation between the two sides.
