On August 19th, the first Chinese Physician's Day Celebration Conference and the 11th Chinese Physician Award Ceremony was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Professor Tang Qizhu, Dean of the People's Hospital of Wuhan University and Expert in cardiovascular medicine, won the 11th "Chinese Physician Award". A total of 80 people from all over the country won the award, and Tang Qizhu is the only winner in Hubei Province this year.

The Chinese Physician Award is the highest award in the Chinese physician circle approved by the Ministry of Health, whose purpose is to honor the outstanding representatives of physicians with outstanding contributions. It not only carries forward the spiritual outlook of contemporary physicians to save the wounded, dedicate to medicine but also shows their achievements and important contributions to the cause of human health.
