March 31^st - April 5^th, Rimas Lucas, Associate Professor of Neurology at Northwestern University and Director of the Department of Medical Neuro-oncology, visited MUSM and conducted work in student training, scientific research, and standardized training for residents.

On April 1^st, Yu Baoping, Vice Dean of MUSM, met with Lucas. They discussed the progress and the plan of the current education reform project, and reached a cooperation intention on exchange programs between WHU and Northwestern University.

During the visit, Lucas held lectures at the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Zhongnan Hospital of WHU and Renmin Hospital of WHU, and participated in teaching rounds. He also gave guidance on neuroscience courses, inpatient training, and standardized training for specialists.

At the feedback meeting, Lucas said that the education reform project has made great progress in student training and standardized training for residents, and he highly praised MUSM’s construction of the Neuroscience courses.
