On February 12, the “Psychological Support System”, the first comprehensive online platform for psychological support for epidemic prevention in China, led by Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, was officially launched to provide the public with comprehensive and professional online psychological support.

The comprehensive platform of online psychological support system for epidemic prevention was jointly launched by Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University and Sixth Hospital of Peking University. This comprehensive platform provides the public with methods and information for psychological adjustment, helps the public identify their own emotions, actively respond to bad emotions, and relieve stress. It also provides online assessments to help the public understand their mental health status and provide professional treatment recommendations.

The online anti-epidemic "psychological support system" also launched practical online professional psychological intervention platforms, including free online behavioral cognitive therapy systems, online sleep cognitive therapy systems, and online professional consultations. The platform also integrated the rich resources of domestic psychological counseling and psychological intervention, and has formed a core team of 16 well-known domestic psychiatrists and an assistance team including nearly 800 psychologists.

The online anti-epidemic "psychological support system" faces all the people who need psychological support in the epidemic situation, mainly patients, their families and medical staff. Beginning on February 10, the system was first put on trial in Wuchang Fangcang Hospital.
