    Biography

    Tong Zhaohui, Respiratory Critical Expert, Deputy Dean of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, Outstanding Alumni of Wuhan University (Seventh). From 1983 to 1988, he enrolled in the medical department of Wuhan University School of Medicine and obtained a bachelor's degree in medicine.     Tong Zhaohui, as an expert from the Central Steering Group's medical treatment team and vice president of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, introduced that after coming to Wuhan as an expert group member of the National Health Commission, he weas mainly responsible for the critically ill patients of Jinyintan Hospital, Wuhan Pulmonary Hospital, and Wuhan University Zhongnan Hospital.

    Tong Zhaohui said that when the expert group of the National Health Commission first arrived, they looked closely at the patients, optimized the treatment process and plan, and deployed corresponding specialties, such as doctors and nurses in critical care and respiratory critical care. Through this period, the current work is running smoothly and orderly, the critical case fatality rate has decreased, and the proportion of discharged patients has also increased.

    Tong Zhaohui also said that after Tongji Hospital's Sino-French District and Xiehe Hospital Eastern District were designated as intensive care hospitals, the expert group of the National Health Commission mainly screened critical patients, and transferred them to three designated hospitals.
