Fetal heart rate monitoring, which attracts the most attention from the mother-to-be, can also be carried out without going to the hospital. They can wear a device monitoring fetal heart rate at home, while doctors from Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University can accurately monitor the fetus’ physiological indicators remotely.
Smart sleep monitoring devices are also favored by snorers. Patients suspected of snoring only need to wear a portable sleep monitoring device at home, click on the health test module in the APP “WHU Cloud Medical Service” to apply for sleep monitoring. Then remote measurement data will be uploaded to the cloud platform synchronously and doctors can provide professional advice online.
Peritoneal dialysis, which is closely related to uremia patients, can also be carried out at home. In the experience area of "Smart Abdominal Dialysis", a new type of home dialysis model developed by Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University is displayed: after the patient operates the remote-assisted peritoneal dialysis and the smart peritoneal dialysis system at home, the medical staff can monitor the related diseases in real-time and give early warning analysis. The intelligent and convenient home-based treatment of chronic diseases has attracted many eyeballs, and it is a boon for patients suffering from queuing in the hospital for hemodialysis.
