The first“Research Fellowship from Alumni Association of 1989” was granted in School of Medicine on December 12th. Hu Ning, the student in 8-year program of School of Basic Medical Science, and other 9 students in the class of 2014 wan this research fellowship. Jiang Ming, the Deputy Secretary of Party Working Committee, and other leaders, representatives from the alumni association of 1989, and representatives of the freshmen in the class of 2014, attended this ceremony which was hosted by Zhang Qiming, the chairman of the alumni association of 1989.
Xie Dongxing, the alumnus of 1989, shared his reflections on life on the ceremony, encouraging the students to be youngsters with a warm heart and strong character and to work together with team spirits.

It is reported that the program of “research fellowship from alumni association of 1989” will grant twenty thousand yuan in total to 10 freshmen who are outstanding in character and study and who are financially challenged.
