On June 21, 22 postgraduate students from the 10th Sino-French medical class graduated.

At the graduation ceremony, Feng Youmei, Executive President of Wuhan University and President of WUSM expressed earnest expectations to 22 graduates. She hoped that graduates would always remember the spirit of "revering life, respecting science, caring patients and perfecting medical skills", and keep an assiduous attitude in learning and working. Yu Xiangting, Executive President of WUSM, hosted the graduation ceremony.

Professor Hubert, from University of Lorraine School of Medicine said, “A few days ago, the 20th anniversary commemorative ceremony of University of Lorraine and Wuhan University’s medical cooperation was held and today comes the graduation ceremony of France–China medicine class, I am very proud of these achievements.” He thought that the graduates from France-China experimental class were diligent and hard-working and he firmly believed the medical cooperation between the two universities would gain more fruitful results.

It is reported that Wuhan University and University of Lorraine started the joint program since 1997. During this period, the two sides jointly set up a borderless laboratory; the French side helped Wuhan University set up a new discipline ---- biomedical engineering; the Sino-French medicine experimental class has cultivated nearly 200 students over 9 years; the exchange visits between the two universities have reached over 500; the two sides have jointly held nine international conferences and published more than 120 academic papers, 77 of which were published on international academic journals.
