"Can industrial N95 masks prevent corona virus pneumonia?" "Will corona virus pneumonia cause people to lose their sense of taste and smell?" On March 28, experts from Wuhan University Zhongnan Hospital and Sichuan Huaxi Hospital provided consultation for more than 600 oversea Chinese in 29 countries in Europe and Asia to help them properly respond to the coronavirus pneumonia epidemic through professional explanations.
During the interactive Q & A session, more than 600 overseas Chinese actively asked questions, and the experts answered them in plain language. Professor Cheng Zhenshun suggested that in countries with epidemics, people must wear masks, keep a distance when contacting others, and regularly monitor their body temperature daily. When the body temperature is abnormal or there is difficulty in breathing, they should immediately seek medical help.
Professor Cheng Zhenshun said that with the epidemic of coronavirus pneumonia overseas, many oversea Chinese have become more and more panicked and anxious. By introducing professional protection methods and experiences to them, the experts can help them overcome their fear, and provide a positive effect in responding to the epidemic in a scientific way.
The reporter learned that as of March 28, Wuhan Leishenshan Hospital had accumulatively admitted more than 2,000 patients, recovered and discharged more than 1,700, and is currently still treating more than 200 people in the hospital.
