In 2000, WHU signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Lorraine to jointly develop graduate training programs and conduct international scientific research cooperation in the field of medicine. In 2001, the two universities established Sino-France Medical Class. The cooperation proves to be fruitful. Over the past 20 years, more than 250 students of joint doctoral training and doctoral studies in France have graduated from Medical Class. More than 100 papers were published jointly, about 20 joint research projects were conducted, 9 international or bilateral academic conferences were held, and more than198 French students came to WHU for study and exchange.
