第一章 总则

Chapter One General Provisions

第一条为推进武汉大学MBBS项目学生在中国境外实习的规范化管理，保证实习质量，促进我校医学生在中国境外实习制度的健康发展，制订本办法。

Article 1With a view tostandardizingthe management ofoverseas internshipfor MBBSstudents in Wuhan University School of Medicine (WUSM), ensuring qualityteaching and promoting the sound development of overseas internship forstudents in WUSM, the present provisions are hereby formulated.

第二章 适用范围

Chapter TwoScope of Application

第二条本办法适用于武汉大学MBBS项目国际学生。

Article2These provisions shall be applied to MBBS students in WUSM.

第三条本办法所指中国境外实习，包括以下两种实习方式：

Article3The term “overseas internship” refers to:

（1）学生利用寒暑假赴中国境外进行短期选修实习或见习；

(1) Short-termor elective internship which is conducted during summer break or winter breakand performed in aforeign country or overseas region;

（2）学生在学制第六年赴中国境外进行必修临床实习（以下简称临床实习）。

(2) Compulsory internship which is conducted during student’ssixth year of study and performed in aforeign country or overseas region.

第三章审批程序及申请材料

Chapter ThreeApproval Procedure andApplication Materials

第四条在赴中国境外实习之前，学生应充分了解拟实习单位的实习项目内容和要求，同时根据我校的教学计划及实习安排，制定赴中国境外实习计划。

Article4Before departing for overseasinternship, students shall fully understand the content of internship program andrequirements set by the internship institutions. In addition, students shallprovide a detailed plan for the overseas internship; the internship plan shallbeconsist withWUSM’s teachingplan and internship arrangement.

第五条学生应按照我校要求取得拟实习单位的实习接收函。接收函须真实有效，内容应包含明确的实习日期等。

Article5Students shallobtain an acceptance letter from theproposed overseas internship institution. The acceptance letter shall be trueand effective; it shall clearly state the date and duration of the internship.

第六条在赴中国境外进行临床实习之前，学生应修完本专业教学计划前五年规定的全部课程且成绩合格。

Article 6Students shall complete andobtain credits for all courses offered in year 1-5 of the prescribed teachingscheme before submitting application for overseas internship.

第七条2011级-2013级申请赴中国境外临床实习学生应按学年学费标准的50%提前向学校缴纳实习期学费和两年保险费，完成学籍注册及居留许可延期手续。

Article 7Before submittingapplication for overseas internship, students of 2011-2013 classes shall extendtheir Residence Permit ahead of time and register in advance inSchoolof International Education. 50% tuition fee and a two-year insurancefee shall be paid upon the registration.

第八条学生须向所在学院书面提交赴中国境外实习申请表、学习成绩单、国际教育学院出具的提前注册证明及实习单位接收函，由所在学院教学办公室和医学部教学管理处审批。未经批准离校者按学籍管理条例处理。

Article 8Students shall submitan applicationfor overseasinternship, provide an official transcript, obtain a proof letter forregistration from School of International Education, provide an acceptanceletter issued by proposed overseas internship institution, and obtain the approvalfrom corresponding school as well as WUSM. WUSM will take disciplinary actionagainst students who leave WUSM without completing approval procedure inaccordance with the .

第四章 境外实习管理

Chapter Four Administration of OverseasInternship

第九条在中国境外选修短期实习或见习期间，学生应严格按照实习单位要求完成实习，实习相关证明材料报学院审查备案，不授学分。

Article9Students who conductoverseas short-term or elective internship shall complete the internship andstrictlycomply with the requirements of internship institutes;students shall also submit to corresponding school the relevant reports andmaterials after completing overseas short-term or elective internship. Nocredit is awarded for overseas short-term or elective internship.

第十条赴中国境外临床实习者，应严格按照经我校审核批准的实习计划进行实习，并在实习结束后在规定时间内按要求提交实习报告以及实习单位出具的实习证明等经过公证的材料原件，学生所在学院（系）审核合格者授予相应学分。不能按期完成实习或实习考核未达标者不能授予学分。

Article10When undertaking overseas clinical internship,students shall strictly follow the internship plan which shall beapproved by WUSM; after finishing the internship, students shall submit to WUSMtheir internship reports, internship certificates and other relevant documents.All documents that are obtained from or signed by overseas internship institutesshallbe notarized by a legal authority. Upon the verificationof all the submitted materials by WUSM, the students can obtain credit. Studentswho do not complete internship or fail to meet internship requirements will notbe awarded credit.

第十一条学校对经医学部审批同意赴中国境外实习的学生保留学籍两年。学生最晚应在第7学年5月底前完成实习任务并返校接受实习考核、参加毕业考试、进行毕业审查。第7学年5月底仍未开始临床实习的学生必须立即返校注册、实习，并缴纳第8学年全年学费。

Article 11For studentswho have obtained approval foroverseas internship from WUSM, Wuhan University will keep their enrollment statusfor two years. Students shall return to WUSM to take internship evaluation andgraduation exam no later than May of their 7^thacademic year. Studentswho have not started internship till May of their 7^thacademic yearshall immediately return to WUSM and registrant for internship in WUSM. Tuitionfee for 8^thacademic year should be paid upon the registration.

第十二条学生所在学院应指派专人负责学生中国境外实习管理，关心和了解学生学习、思想动态等。

Article12Each of the responsible schools shall assign an internship supervisor forstudents who undertake overseas internship. The internship supervisors areresponsible foroverseeing the progress of studentsandprovidingconsulting servicetothestudents.

第十三条在中国境外实习期间，学生应遵守所在国家或地区的法律、法规和风俗习惯。如有违法行为，学生将承担全部责任。

Article13Students shall respect local customs and obey the regulations and lawsof the countries or regions where the internship institutes are located. Studentsare responsible for the legal responsibilities and economic consequencescausing by their own illegal behavior.

第十四条在中国境外实习期间，学生应遵守所在学校或单位的规章制度。如有违规行为，一经发现，我校将视情节给予处分，直至开除学籍。

Article14Students shall comply with the rules of the internship institute. WUSM hasthe right to punish or expel students if they violate the rules.

第十五条学生在中国境外学校或单位实习所产生的一切费用（含学费、注册费、保险费、交通费、住宿费、医疗保险费等）由学生自理。

Article15Students are responsible for all expensesassociated with overseasinternship (including tuition, registration fees, insurance, transportationcosts, lodging charges, health insurance, and so on).

第五章 附则

Chapter Five Supplementary Provisions

第十六条本办法自公布之日起执行。

Article16Theseprovisionsshall take effect immediately.

第十七条本办法由医学部教学管理处负责解释。

Article17The Teaching Administration Office ofWUSM reserves the rightsto make final interpretation of theseprovisions.
